Peacock + Lewis Architects and Planners Selected to Plan and Design a New Poolside Grill at The Country Club of Orlando

Naples, FL (March 12, 2024) — Peacock + Lewis, a renowned planning, architectural, and interior design firm specializing in private clubs and hospitality, proudly announces its selection by the esteemed Country Club of Orlando to serve as the planner, architect, and interior designer for the forthcoming Sunset Grille — a multimillion-dollar casual dining and recreational amenity project that signifies a new era for the iconic 113-year-old institution.

In addition to the poolside grill, Peacock + Lewis has designed several new recreational amenities for the adjacent area. These include a 5,000-square-foot pool with a reconfigured pool deck, new pickleball courts with an adjoining pavilion, a children’s play area, and a multi-purpose sports court. Kenneth Hart, principal architect and Managing Director of the Peacock + Lewis Naples office, assembled a high-quality team of professional architects, planners, and designers to provide The Country Club of Orlando with several design concepts and site configurations and, ultimately, presented a final recommended plan to the membership that received overwhelming support.

“The new Sunset Grille is poised to offer Country Club of Orlando members of all ages a rejuvenating and casual dining experience,” remarked Kenneth Hart, AIA, CID. “Strategically situated amidst other club amenities, the grill’s design exudes a relaxed ambiance while seamlessly integrating with the architectural style of the club’s existing facilities.”

Bryan Joseph, President of The Country Club of Orlando Board, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “Our partnership with Peacock + Lewis represents a pivotal moment in elevating the club’s casual dining and recreational offerings and our members are truly excited about this transformational project. We were particularly impressed by Peacock + Lewis’s ability to understand our needs and seamlessly guide the project from conceptualization to the construction drawing phase, ensuring the realization of our club’s aspirational vision.”

Architectural and engineering drawings are currently underway for the Sunset Grille, which is expected to open its doors to members in late 2025. This project is a testament to Peacock + Lewis’s dedication to providing innovative and transformative designs that enhance the overall experience for private clubs and hospitality establishments.
